Objective:Through the comparison of low field magnetic resonance FIR-STIR, Fat Sep G-WFT2* two kinds of fat suppression sequence and FSE-T2 WI imaging evaluation of medial patellar retinaculum injury, to provide the optimal sequence method for clinical diagnosis. Methods:On clinical examination of suspected patella medial support in acute knee joint injury with low field magnetic resonance conventional sequence scanning of 49 patients after injury plus FIR-STIR, Fat Sep G-WFT2* two kinds of fat suppression sequence and FSE-T2 WIscanning. The sequences of three knee medial patellar retinaculum injury classification and operation or / and arthroscopic diagnosis and classification comparison, analysis of the feasibility of the three sequences of patellar medial support for damage. Results:In 49 cases:medial patellar retinaculum were normal in 5 cases, 7 cases with injury of medial patellar support in grade I, 22 cases with injury of medial patellar support II grade, medial patellar retinaculum injury grade III in 15 cases. FIR-STIR sequence, FSE-T2 WI sequence and Fat Sep G-WFT2* sequence of medial patellar retinaculum injury classification and operation or / and arthroscopic grading, the sensitivity was 93.2%, 90.9% and 97.7% respectively; specificity was 62.5%, 55.6% and 83% respectively; the accuracy is 93.9%, 91.8% and 97.9% respectively. FIR-STIR sequence, FSE-T2 WI sequence and Fat Sep G-WFT2* sequence and other three kinds of sequences of the Kappa values were 0.941, 0.800, 0.856, >0.750, displayed in the medial patellar retinaculum injury classification and operation or / and arthroscopic diagnosis and classification have good consistency, and three sequences with better consistency with Fat Sep G-WFT2* sequence and operation or / and arthroscopic diagnosis.Conclusion:1. FIR-STIR sequence, FSE-T2 WI sequence and Fat Sep G-WFT2* sequence on the display medial patellar retinaculum injury classification and operation or / and arthroscopic diagnosis and classification has better consistency. 2. Fat Sep G-WFT2* sequences revealed medial patellar retinaculum injury effect than FIR-STIR sequence, FSE-T2 WI sequence of sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, can be used as a routine sequence in knee joint injury to use.
