Objective :Analyze and summarize the clinical data of 45 cases of chronic subdural hematoma and, compare clinical effective of drilling drainage and flushing drainage drilling treatment of chronic subdural hematoma. Methods: Selected 25 cases of chronic subdural hematoma in our hospital From April 2002 to the July 2007, using drilling drainage treatment; 20 cases of chronic subdural hematoma in our hospital from August 2007 to July 2012, using drilling flushing drainage treatment, and analyzed retrospectively. The aspects of age, hematoma volume, the cure rate, efficiency, incision length, blood loss, operative time, hospital stay, incidence of complications were compared. Data was analyzed using SPSS17.0 statistical software. Results: 45 patients completed the surgery and treatment. The aspects of age and hematoma volume, drill drainage group were higher than drilling flushing drainage group, by statistical software analysis, the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05); in the aspects of cure rate, efficiency aspects, were higher than the drilling flushing drainage group, by statistical software analysis, the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05); and compared with drilling flushing drainage group, the first group has smaller incision, less blood loss, shorter operative time, shorter hospital stay, through statistical analysis software, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the incidence of postoperative complications was higher than the drilling flushing drainage group, through statistical software analysis, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: by analysis the data of 45 cases of chronic subdural hematoma, the aspects of age, hematoma volume, the cure rate, efficiency, incision length, blood loss, operative time, hospital stay, and the incidence of complications were compared, analysis, results: factors that could affect the treatment, no significant difference in the amount of hematoma, age; incision length, blood loss, operative time, length of hospital stay, drilling drainage was significantly superior the drilling flushing drainage group; postoperative complication rate, was higher than the drilling flushing drainage group. We believe that the effect of drilling drainage and flushing drilling drainage the treatment is basically the same; the incidence of postoperative complications, the former is worse than the latter.
