| Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV is the paramyxovirus family, pneumonia virus, a single strands of negative chain has coated RNA virus, the only host is human. RSV is one of the main respiratory pathogens of infants and young children in the world, causeing infant capillary bronchitis and pneumonia, is the main cause of acute lower respiratory infections, the effective treatment method for RSV infection is still undeveloped.There are methods of research on RSV in vitro and in vivo. In vivo experiment mainly includes infecting animal model with RSV, testing the RSV inhibition of drugs to the animals, or directly get clinical statistics of efficacy of drugs on patients.In vitro studies mainly use respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) standard strains infecting in vitro cell model, such as Vero cells, studying the effects of drugs on cells.This paper mainly focuses on the following points of the antiviral effects of lianhuaqingwen:drug toxicity on cells, antiviral effect of drugs, effcts of the drug for virus adsorption, and internaling cells of the virus, the cell, then the detection of cytokines.Lianhuaqingwen can regulate immune function, antibacterial, healing fever, and analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and reduce cough, phlegm, by blocking the vicious cycles, multiple pathological of virus, mobilizing the body’s disease-resistant capacity recovery. This drug has a significant curative effect on acute upper respiratory tract infection caused by viruses, including RSV.Plaque formation induced by HRSV could be inhibited by lianhuaqingwen. The antiviral drug effects has dose dependent, that is, the higher the drug concentration is, the stronger the is the antiviral effect. The inhibition of internalization and adsorption of viruses by the drug has dose dependent. If the internalization time is different, the antiviral effect is different. |
