| Researches have been conducted to investigate the immune regulation of Transfer Factor, (TF) which was presumed to improve the development and growth of immune organs and hence regulate the immune competence of T cells. And TF was also considered to improve on broiler's growth owing to higher feed conversion. As no species specificity without any side and toxic effects, and TF can be abstracted from the easily available spleen, with small molecular weights of 3000-5000 Dalton, no pyrogenicity, simple spatial configuration and stable biochemical nature, which is expected to open up a promising vista for clinical use in animal production.With differently treated groups of TF from 8 animals or poultry, the present research was attempted to compare its immune competence from different species in unvaccinated young AA broilers, including 3 trials:1) T cell convert and proliferation in vitro (MMT) and in vivo; 2) Tests of index effects of immune organs and 3) TF controlling of immune depression Caused by IBD Vaccines by using BBC TF and other animals'TF.The data showed that TFs from different species in each of the treated could improve T cell convert and proliferation in both vitro and vivo in broilers but with very significant differences, of which BBC TF had best effect compared with other TFs and the bovine TF was worst. My data also indicates TF from different animals or poultry had different effect on the indexes of immune organs of the chicks. The evidence demonstrates that BBC TF had stronger effect than TF from the other poultry or animals used in this research on the growth and development of such immune organs as thymus, spleen and bursa of Fabricius of the chicken.The results of the last trial is suggested that BBC TF is best and could eliminate the immune depression caused by IBD vaccines by highly improving the effects of ND—HI and AI—HI. |
