Study On Information Management System Of Forestry Of Forest Bioenergy Based On WebGIS

The Information Management System of Forestry of Forest Bioenergy,which combined WebGIS systems theory, method and forest bioenergy information, aimed at the demand for the system, took account of the trend of GIS development, studies, designs and develops" forest bioenergy information management system based on WebGIS".The Forest Bioenergy Information Management System taked the attribute information such as the news, policies and regulations, research of forest bioenergy, non-spatial information and spatial information of forest resources of the experimental farm of Hunan Academy Forestry and its surrounding area with measuresment about 9,000 acers (namely the junction where Li Tuo Township, Dong Jing Town, GuiTang office in Yu Hua district of Changsha meet) as the data source; studied the characteristic of the entire system data to set up metadata-base of the forest bioenergy information system; gathered the relief map of the the experimental farm of Hunan Academy Forestry and the surrounding area and integrates them with remote sensing data of this area, treated with the vector data,grid data and attribute data of the Forest Bioenergy Information System by digital instrument and softwares such as ArcGIS. To design the frame structure,analyse the function demand of every part,design and set up the databse, It adoptes B/S and C/S pattern structure, operates in Windows 2003Server OS, takes MSSQLServer2000 as the database, chooses J2EE+Javascript+ JSP+VB.NET as design languages,uses ESRI ArcGIS Server as network map server and ARCSDE as the engine of the spatial database. Compared with popular used solution and method of WebGIS presently, it selected AJAX+J2EE to achieve, which can work in different platforms with good isomerous ability,better expansibility and easier to treat distributedly. It set up the information database of news, policies and regulations, scientific research and spatial data base of forest distribution. There are various function modules such as user management, data browse, searches and inquiring, thematic maping, consult map for attribute, consult attribute for map, printout and information management. It can achieve to issue the attribute info and spatial info of the forest bioenergy information, integrate the spatial info with the attribute info seamlessly and share the forest bioenergy information actually.In this paper, the forest bioenergy information management system based on WebGIS integrated with the application of database technology, information technology, Internet technology and other high-tech,and realized the data-sharing of distributed forest bioenergy database in network. It conducted in-depth study on the working principle of ArcGIS Server and grammar norms and standards of ARCXML, focused on publishing spatial information of forest resources based on the WebGIS, meanwhile, the use of the EJB and JSP technology of J2EE made the system to achieve a multi-layer structure, provided it with higher Flexibility, retractility and reusability.In short, it supports searchs and inquering, and able to transform the results to thematic maps as a visual representation. With its scientific methods, advanced means, reasonable structure, nice applicability,the system provided better solutions and worthful experience for other forest WebGIS on network's operation and information publishing.
