In China the marine fishery area covers more than 3 million square meters and there are about 280 thousand fishery boats and ships, and 30 million workers serving in the fishery industry. In order to guarantee the security for the fishery industry and fishermen, to solve the problems in first hand successfully, a more secure, reliable, real-time and comprehensive communication system is required. Under these circumstances, this thesis aims to improve the performance of communication system for the fishery industry, design and realize a more advanced all-digital base radio station of SX08 series so as to ensure a stable and fast development in the fishery industry in the southeast coastal cities.In this paper the design and realization of terminal control system for the SX08 series fishery all-digital base radio station based on the embedded Linux system is discussed. Based on the introduction to ARM, an embedded microprocessor and embedded Linux system, the thesis first introduces the design plan and requirements for the fishery base radio station of SX08 series. Second it deals with the design of base control system based on Linux system, focusing on the study, design and realization of management and communication module. Then using the IP technology and C-S model a research is conducted on the base remote control system which includes two aspects: local service system and telecommunication control system.All the functions for the system are realized and all the requirements are satisfied after several tests. The sample machine using the system discussed in the thesis is found to be reliable after repeated use.
