By investigation,observation and measurement, recording the growth characters of WuGang copper goose of white plumage goose and gray plumage goose from 1 to 13 weeks with partial slaughter performance data analysis in gray plumage goose at the 13 weeks, so as to analyze the growth in WuGang copper goose and study on the slaughtering with the system of research. By using the growth curve fitting to study on the regular growing development,and through the change of growth curve to set up the ideal mode of weight increment.1.growth-development law in WuGang copper goose:According to the situation of 13 weeks of feeding experiment of Wugang copper geese, the feed conversion ratio of group of White plumage geese was 3.49:1 respectively during 13 weeks old, and Gray plumage geese was 3.2:1.Ggrowth-development law had good growth curve fitting with Logistic, Gompertz and von Bertalanffy model, the fitting degree was more than 0.95 and fitting curves were fundmentally identical with the measured curve. But further analysis showed that von Bertalanffy model can fit growth curve of Wugang copper geese very well. The meaning of growth curve inflection point was that inflection point show up when daily gain was most rapid. The week age of growth inflection point of White plumage geese and Gray plumage geese was 10.83 and 10.84 respectively, and weight knee was 2896.9g and 3454.6g respectively according to the optimum curve model. Geese were strengthen nutrition to guarantee growth need, plus or minus one week during the growth curve inflection point.2.growth-development rule of main body measurements and meat productive traits:By relevance analysis between body weight and size of White plumage geese and Gray plumage geese, results showed that, in the indexes of body weight and size 13 week old White plumage geese, highest correlation coefficients were between body weight and shank length(0.73915, p<0.01), and correlation coefficients of body slanting length, chest width and neck length were high, with high significance (p<0.01); By relevance analysis between body weight and size of White plumage geese and Gray plumage geese, results showed that highest related coefficient with body weight was chest width(0.62613, p<0.01), and correlation coefficients were high among body slanting length, shank length, shank girth(p<0.01) and neck length(p<0.05), that was regarded as a reference of body size substitution of body weight of Wugang copper geese during selecting, however, it will be further proved genetic correlation whether has the same significant correlation.By relevance analysis of main productive traits of White plumage geese and Gray plumage geese, results showed that, highest correlation coefficient of Gray plumage geese was between live weight and slaughter weight and there was very significant difference(correlation coefficient was 0.99455), the second was weight eviscerated yield with correlation coefficient of 0.97611(p<0.01), that of live weight, weight of eviscerated yield with giblet and breast muscle was extremely different(p<0.01), and there was significant difference in correlation coefficient of leg muscle weight.The studies provide reference to forecast the regular growing development of WuGang copper goose in timely, and we can make full use of the peak of growth, combining the scientific feeding and management, excavating potential growth, to come true the maximum economic benefits.
