Leymus chinensis is a kind of perennial grass in the grass family. It has the characteristics of relatively strong cold resistance, drought resistance and resistance of being eaten and trodden. It is of high nutritive value and good palatability. It is one of the dominant species in the grassland in the northeast and northwest of China. The experiment was conducted in experimental land in Qianguo County of Jilin Province. Three kinds of interfering treatment are done to the sample plot. The first one is alkali-saline stress. Randomly select the alkaline spotting on the experimental land. Use the boundary of alkaline spotting and grass as benchmark. Select successively five different alkali-saline gradients from the border of alkaline spotting to the interior of grassland and number them in proper order from A5 to A1, that is, the pH value of Al is the lowest while that of A5 is the highest. The pH values from A1 to A5 are respectively 8.92-7.90,9.19-8.08,9.42-8.50,9.57-8.87, and 9.77-9.25. The second one is soil compaction. Artificially select five sample plots with different soil compaction and the density is shown by SCI, SC2, SC3, SC4 and SC5. The order of soil compaction is:SC1
