With the red swamp crayfish Procambarus clarkii industry development and the further promotion of intensive farming, breeding eutrophication getting more and more serious, restrict its healthy and sustainable development, and harm the ecological environment. Water purification by aquatic plants shows great advantages such as efficient, environmental, economic, etc. and has been widespread concern in aquatic breeding. This paper mainly studies the water environment control effect of two aquatic floating plants, which are the economic crop Ipomoea aquatic and invasive weeds Alligator Alternanthera.First, creatively use Eco-concrete with Procambarus clarkii to purification aquaculture wastewater of red swamp crayfish.Set up 8 treatments(A control, only eco-concrete and only Ipomoea aquatica group,7 experimental group as Eco-concrete with 1kg/m3,2kg/m3,3kg/m3,4kg/m3,5kg/m3 initial biomass densities (D) of Ipomoea aquatica respectively), purification treatment of Procambarus clarkii was conducted for 25 days, and periodic determined water quality indicators. Concentrate on the changes of total phenolic content (TP). The results show that Eco-concrete with Ipomoea aquatica had an obvious better TP removal effect, and a certain time and biomass effect which was showed as abinary function of TP, D and time (t) established by statistically analysis. The function can be used in healthy cultivation as basic parameters. In the wild aquaculture ponds, Ipomoea aquatica were cultured with red swamp crayfish for 120 days to purify farming water. The main water quality in each pond water and grass biomass were detected every month, and the yield and survival of the Red swamp crayfish were analyzed at the end of the experiment. The results indicate: Ipomoea aquatica can effectively reduce the shrimp aquaculture eutrophication level, improve water aquaculture environment, and can provide concealed perched sites and natural resources for red swamp crayfish, reduce production cost, realized the production and income and the soil and water conservation benefits.Secondly, Plant Alligator Alternanthera in high-density red swamp crayfish water tank, set up 6 treatments (one control group with no grass planting,5 experimental group with 1kg/m3,2kg/m3,3kg/m3,4kg/m3,5kg/m3 initial biomass densities of Alligator Alternanthera respectively), main water quality index and residual waste output of every group were detected per week. The length, weight, survival rate of shrimps and grasses biomass were measured after five weeks of cultivating. The water quality and shrimp growth situation were better in shrimp-grass symbiotic system than that with no grass. With the increase of Alligator Alternanthera biomass, the DO, COD, NH4+-N and SS of water decreased, and the shrimp biomass increased.Which showed that Alligator Alternanthera can effectively purifying water quality, and promote the production of red swamp crayfish.Finally, Alligator Alternanthera were cultured with red swamp crayfish in White horse lake farming base for five months. The results showed that Alligator Alternanthera can increase the water ecological system of space niche, improve aquaculture biodiversity and shrimp production. As an alien species, Alligator Alternanthera can be utilized in red swamp crayfish aquaculture.
