There are two kinds of Larix gmelinii plantations in Daxing'an mountains region, the first is planted after fire, the other is planted after reforming wetlands. In order to understand the rate of carbon sink in L. gmelinii plantation,Biomass (Load) and carbon storage of aboveground and SOC was estimated by space-time substitution method and several life stages in two form were investigated, for estimating their overall biomass and carbon storage, respectively. In order to evaluate the carbon sequestration capacity of Larix gmelinii plantations Accurately, and provide reference data for Artificial Forest model in Daxing'an mountains region.The results showed that:â‘ With the age of stand increasing, the biomass of Plantation,hrub and grass showed the same trend:the biomass of Plantation increase with increasing in age, but the biomass of shrub and grass reduce with it.â‘¡In the survey plots after fire,1 year of forest plantation has largest of soil organic carbon storage, with the increase in forest age, it decreases first and then increases, but until 21 years,the soil organic carbon storage is still well below the soil organic carbon storage in 1 year; and in the survey plots in the plantation after reforming wetlands, the soil carbon storage changes in trend is not obvious.â‘¢In the survey plots in the plantation after fire,1 year of ecology ecosystem carbon storage is largest, with the increase of stand age, showing the same trend of change in soil organic carbon storage, that is, decrease first and then increase; in the survey plots in the plantation after reforming wetlands,with the increase of forest age, the ecosystem carbon storage increased, performed a certain carbon sinks.â‘£The soil organic carbon storage is more than plant carbon storage of same plot in Daxing'an mountains, the increase of plant carbon storage does not mean plantation is a "carbon sinks", changes in soil organic carbon storage largely determine the role of the plantation ecosystem (carbon source or carbon sequestration).
