The study focused on the effects made by different levels of spirulina and its protective use on the rumen fermentation and blood biochemical parameters of dairy cows.After screening the suitable additive amount of spirulina and protected spirulina,cow fitted permanent rumen fistula were chosen to study the result of experiment in vitro by 3×3 Latin square trial.This paper aimed at discussing spirulina's regulation on rumen and providing references for its uses in future from the results of internal environment of rumen,production of rumen fermentation, effective degradation rate of mutrient of diet in rumen,apparent digestibility of dairy cows, cellulose activity, neutral protease activity and blood biochemical parameters.1.Screening of addition dose of different levels of spirulina and protected spirulina in culture fluidin vitro.The experiment was designed by single-factor contrast test. Spirulina was designed six grads:0, 0.03%,0.06%,0.09%,0.12% and 0.15%DM,termed A0,A1,A2,A3,A4 and A5 respectively.A0 was control group;Protected spirulina was composed of Acetohydroxamic acid(AHA,25mg/kg) and spirulina.The addition was designed six grads:0, 0.03%,0.06%,0.09%,0.12% and 0.15%DM, termed B0,B1,B2,B3,B4 and B5 respectively.B0 was control group adding 25mg/kg AHA.Each level of spirulina or protected spirulina would be done three times at 0h,6h,12h,and 24h point respectively.Assessing culture fluid pH,the concentration of ammonia nitrogen,the disappearance of DM,neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF) by MFAEI,the appropriate adding dose of spirilina could be gotten 0.09%DM and 0.15%DM,protected spriilina 0.09%DM and 0.12%DM.2.Effect of different levels of spirulina and its protective use on the rumen fermentationThe experiment was designed by 3×3 Latin square trial.The adding dose of spirulina was designed as S1(0),S2(0.09%DM)and S3(0.15%DM);The adding dose of protected spirulina was designed as P1(0),P2(0.09%DM)and P3(0.12%DM).In this part,the effects of spirulina on effective degradation rate of nutrient of diet in rumen,apparent digestibility of dairy cows,internal environment of rumen,production of rumen fermentation,cellulos and neutral protease activity were studied.(1)There was no significant effect on rumen pH by adding 0.09% and 0.15%DM spirulina or adding 0.09% and 0.12%DM protectiv spirulina in diets(P>0.05).Both spirulina and protective could reduce the ammonia nitrogen density in rumen,But the different was no significant(P>0.05).Total volatile fatty acid(TVFA) in each adding group were significantly higher than the control group.Adding 0.15%DM spirulina could increase the acetic acid concentration significantly(P<0.05).The concentration of TVFA, C2 and C2/C3 in protective group were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Adding 0.09%DM protective spirulina had an significant effect.(2)The NDF and ADF effective degradation were significantly increased by adding 0.09%,0.15%DM spirulina and 0.09%,0.12%DM protective spirulina in diet(P<0.05).Adding 0.15%DM spirulina could significantly decrease the CP effective degradation (P<0.05),but the protective spirulina group had no significant effect(P>0.05).(3)Both spirulina and protective spirulina could significantly increase the apparent digestibility of DM,CP,NDF and ADF,and also could enhance the cellulase activity and neutral proteaseactivity(P<0.05).0.15%DM spirulina and 0.09%DM protective spirulina had better effect.3.Effect of different levels of spirulina and its protective use on blood biochemical parameters.There was no significant effect on blood glucose, calcium and phosphorus concentration,and alkaline phosphatase activities of dairy cow serum by adding spirilina and protective spirilina(P>0.05).Adding 0.15%DM spirulina could significantly decrease the blood urea nitrogen concentration(P<0.05).0.09%DM protective spirulina also had better effect.Both spirulina and protective spirulina had significant effect on the oxidation resistance and stress resistance of dairy cow.4. Comparative Study of the effect of spirulina and protective spirulina.There is no significant effect of spirulina and prospective spirulina on degradation rate of nutrient of diet in rumen,rumen digestive enzyme, antioxidation and immunization.Spirulina can be used directly dispensed with Acetohydroxamic acid in actual application.
