Progress in the taxonomy of the actinomycetes and acidophilic actinomycetes was introduced In this paper. The diversity of acidophilic rare Actinomycetes from acidic soil was studied and a polyphasic study was undertaken to establish the taxonomic position of two isolates.Whether acidophilic rare actinomycetes like Catenulispora exist was determined through genus-specific PCR method, which have guiding significance for the follow-up work. Molecular test results show tha:soil samples of Liujiazhan No.1, No.2, No.3 and Wushan No.1, No.2, No.6, No.9, has a good diversity of actinomycetes; soil samples of LiujiazhanNo.2,No.3 and WushanNo.1,No.2 has a good diversity of Catenulispora. through Genus-specific Phylogenetic analysis and diversity of the calculationsIn this study,180 actinomycetes were isolated from acidic soil samples collected from Wushan mountain and Liujiazhan in Jiangxi Province. On the basis of 16S rRNA sequence analysis,110 selected strains were assigned to 20 recognized genera.53 of them fall within the genus Streptomyces,12 belong to Micromonospora,8 belong to Nocardia,5 belong to Streptosporangium,4 belong to Microbispora, Actinomycetospora, Mycobacterium and Amycolatopsis,3 belong to Nonomurea and Streptacidiphilus,2 belong to Pseudonocardia and Saccharothrix, and other 8 strains belong to Sphaerisporangium, Actinoallomurus, Tsukamurella, Actinocrollia Arthrobacter, Marmoricola, Williamsia, Actinokineospora. Our results show the good diversity of acidophilic rare actinomycetes in acidic soil, with Micromonospora and Nocardia predominant. Although DNA-DNA hybridization experiments are still needed, but the results of 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis suggest that, Representative strains of 7 genera strains may be novel species in 19 genera.GTV medium containing soil extracted juice and a variety of vitamins, but carbon, nitrogen source very low concentrations, natural pH value of roughly 5, closer to the original acidic soil environment, which is beneficial to the growth of actinomycete. A+ B medium as good separation result for Streptacidiphilus. MSH medium for some Streptomyces has good separation result. Strain FXJ1.102 and FXJ1.034 isolated from acidic soil samples collected from Jiangxi Agricultural University, were subject to a polyphasic taxonomic study. Following an evaluation of morphological, physiological and chemotaxonomic characteristics,16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons and DNA-DNA hybridization experiments, the new isolates are proposed as novel species Nonomuraea jiangxiensis sp. nov. and Lentzea jiangxiensis sp. nov..
