Resistance Mechanism Of Wheat Varieties To Wheat Aphid Macrosiohum Miscanthi

It is an important approach of decreasing aphids damage to make use of wheat variety resistance to control the amount of aphid. The resistance mechanism of wheat to insects includes tolerance, nonpreference and antibiosis. The dissertation investigates the wheat mechanism, indicators and standard of resistance to aphid and analyses the relation between four kinds of second substance and the wheat resistance to aphid and research the effect of wheat varieties on carboxylesterase (CarE) and glutathione-s-transferase (GST) according to the tests of three mechanism, the content of second substance and the activity of relative detoxification enzyme. The research results offer basic indicators of resistance to aphid for identifying resistance wheat varieties and theory warranty for breeding of wheat resistance to aphid and intergrate aphid management.In seedling of wheat, implementing the test of Nonpreference by means of releasing alate aphids in order to make them freely select location, the results indicate that most of the wheat varieties have not distinct difference each other, except that Hongmanghong and 885479-2 have distinct difference with others. The analyses show that the conformation and volatile of wheat have few influence on the behavior of autoeciousness.The results of the tests of wheat Antibiosis in seedling indicate that aphids number ratio have distinct defference among fifteen wheat varieties. This is a contrast with Nonpreference, and it suggests that Antibiosis is main type of the wheat resistance to aphid. It is consistent with facts.Selecting five wheat varieties having distinct difference each other by Antibiosis tests identifying in seedling as research material, Antibiosis is carried out in anthesis of wheat. During one generation of aphid the amount of reproduction and the period of growth and reproduction are recorded.
