Many external and internal studies on the growth,development ,yield and grain qulity formation of tobacco were referenced in this paper. Based on extensively collecting, understanding, analysis, and intergration of expert's knowledge and experience, literature and experiment data for tobacco cultivation management, the dynamic relationships of cotton growth and management indices to variety types, ecological environments and production levels were quantified, and a dynamic knowledge model for tobacco nitrogen management was developed. By further incorporating the rule-based knowledge system for tobacco management, a comprehensive and intelligent knowledge model-based decision support system for tobacco management was established with component design.Decesion system of tobacco nitrogen management strategy include four parts: Data management, nitrogenous fertilizer operation and nitrogen assignment model, growth growth model and cultivation management knowledge library. The data management include variety, meteorology, soil foundation data. The data can be maintenanced, expansion, deposited , withdrawed and outputted. The nitrogenous fertilizer operation is take the high quality leaf tobacco production as the goal, considering factors that climate, soil, variety characteristic, production level influences, the system provide the nitrogenous fertilizer total demand, the organic nitrogenous and the inorganic nitrogen proportion, the nitrogenous fertilizer base pursues compares and so on; Simultaneously the system follows the balanced revenues and expenditures principle, through to a different growth stage smoke quantitative determination, and refers to the predecessor to study, obtains the tobacco absorption nitrogen the rule, uses mathematics modelling the method establishment model, the definite parameter, establishes along with the period of duration dynamic change attracts the nitrogen model, the model may simulate the different birth time adult plant various organs nitrogen content. The growth model quote tobacco growth dynamic model system (Tobacco-DSMS) and the tobacco root growth dynamic model. Two model were hanged to this system, enhancing system integrity.
