Effects Of Extracts Of Pueraria Labata Root On Dairy Performance And Related Machanism In Dairy Cow

This thesis contains four parts. The first and second parts studied the effecs of extracts of Pueraria labata root on dairy performance and blood paramenters of dairy cow. The third part mainly studied the effects of estracts of Pueraria labata root on dairy performance of infertile cows after artificial inducting of lactation. The last part studied the effects of extacts of Pueraria labata root on mammary gland development in nonpregnant goat and discussed the related machanism .Exp. I Effects of different doses of extracts of puerariae labata root on dairy performance and blood parameters on dairy cowsThirty-two healthy Holstein dairy cows in mid-lactation ,which have resemble milk yield, lactation period and parity, were divided them randomly into four group: Control Group, Exp.Group1, Exp.Group2 and Exp.Group3. The supplementary level of extracts of pueraria labata root in the ration of CG, EG1, EG2 and EG3 were 0,12.5, 25 and 250 mg/kg respectively, the basic ration was the same. The duratation of experiment was 60d. The results showed: The milk yield of EG were more stable than that of CG (p>0.05); The milk yield of Exp.Group1, Exp.Group2 and Exp.Group3 were more than that of CG for 17.47%, 9.68%, 11.36%; The milk fat percentage of EG were raised, but the percentage of protein, SNF and density were not changed; The plasma levels of E₂, COR and PRL of EG were raised. The plasma level of TC, TG, BUN, TP, ALB, ALT, HLDP, glucose and cholesterol were not significantly different in all groups (p>0.05), These suggest that supplementary of extracts of puerariae radix root can lessen the decline tendency of milk yield.Exp. II Effects of extracts of pueraria labata root of dairy cows on dairy performance and blood plasmaSixteen healthy Hostein dairy cows in mid-lactation were chose according to the resemble paturition, body weight, dairy performance, and were divided randomly into Control group and Exp. group. The supplementary level of extracts of pueraria labata root in the ration of Control group and Exp. group were 0 and 500mg/kg, the basic ration was the same.
