Technique Measures For High Yielding Of Cucumber In Sunlight Greenhouse In YuLin

On the base of an investigation into the natural conditions of Yulin Region , an all-round analysis on the daily variation of the environmental factors such as radiation, temperature , C0₂ and relative humidity were made in this paper.A series of experiments were conducted to have an observation and comparison on the effects of different concentration of Ethlyne and GA, different fungicides, different cucumber varieties, different C0₂ concentrations, different types of fertilizers, grafted and self-root seedlings, stem depressing and non-depressing and artificial lighting. it proposed some technique measures for high yielding of cucumber in sunlight greenhouse. The results are as follows:1. The treatment of 100ppm ethylene has a good comprehensive effect, with low node of female flowers, female flowers ratio, large leaf area, large plant height, high early yield, more early fruits number and high single plant yield.2. The treatment of GA 250 ppm is better than the 50ppm, 100ppm, and 500ppm, with longer fruits and a high fruit setting ratio up to 81.6%.3. The treatment of 1500 ppm C0₂ is the best one among all the treatments, with good performance in plant height, stem diameter, leaf and stem dry matter, female flowers/plants ratio, early yield per 667m², total yield per 667m² and high quality fruits ratio.4. The field efficiency of all the fungicides has the sequence of metalaxyl-Mn-Zn > chlorothalonil > Sandofan MS in the control of cucumber downy mildew .5. Dingfeng and Jinyou NO. 2 are performing better than Xintaimici and Jinchun NO. 3 , when concerned to the plant height, abortion ration, cotyledon yellowing ratio, downy mildew ratio , average female flowers number within 15 nodes, node of first fruit, maturity stage and early yield.6. Organic fertilizer application can make plants grow more strongly than those under urea fertilization , with more female flowers , high fruit setting ration within a single plant and low abnormal fruit ratio, which resulted in a higher yield.7. Grafted seedlings are growing better than self-root seedlings, with higher plants, larger leaves, higher female flowers ratio, high fruit setting ratio, low fruit abortion ratio, early harvest, late ending time, longer harvest period , larger single fruit weight. Grafting greatly increased the early yield and total yield , at the same time , decreased the died seedling ratio , blight, downy mildew and powdery mildew ratio.8. Artificial lights of 200W are placed at height of 80cm with a distance interval of 6m for 2 hours from 17:00AM to 19:00AM. It tends to form sound seedling , with large stem diameter, large hypocotyl and early blossom .9. The solar greenhouse is the best in heat conservation and light transpiration , with a width of 8m, a height of 3m, a north wall height of 2.6m, length of 50m, front light-in roof angle of 60° , one-meter-angle of 38° , center angle of 25° and back sloping angle 45° .
