Application Of Gen-Som Vaccine No.1 (Vaccine Of Somatostatin Vector) In Herbivorous Animals

Thirty heifers, 24 dairy cows and 94 rex rabbits were treated by Gen-Som Vaccine No.l vector in the current experiment. The results indicated that Gen-Som Vaccine No.l can enhance growth and improve weight gain of cattle, goats and rex rabbits. Gen-Som Vaccine No.l inhibited the reduction of milk yield in middle and latter term of lactation, and the vaccine could increase lactation but had no any effects on milk quality. Furthermore, Gen-Som Vaccine No.l could also improve quality of fur in rex rabbits.
