Antimicrobial peptides are a recently discovered type of antimicrobial activity peptides and play an important role in immunity. But related researches on Reptile have never reported before.Four experiments were primarily studied the antimicrobial ability and activity of the antimicrobial peptides crude sample from young Chelydra serpentina's intestines, blood, liver, skin, moreover were studied the blood antimicrobial peptides' purification process and their related characteristic.Experiment 1. Antimicrobial Peptides Raw Extraction of DifferTissue from Young Chelydra SserpentinaThis experiment was used methods of (NH4)2SO4 extraction and improved acetic acid extraction on antimicrobial peptides crude sample from induced Chelydra serpentina's intestines, blood, liver, skin. The result showed that the acetic acid extraction was succeed in separating antimicrobial peptides crude sample. The antibacterial activity of the raw sample from intestines and blood can be detected inhibited zone by A.hydrophila and Salmonelladerby,. the raw sample from intestines have stronger inhibitory activity than from blood ,but the raw sample from liver and skin can not. This showed that the contents of antimicrobial peptides in intestines and blood have more than them in liver and skin.Experiment 2. Effect of inducement dose on inhibitory activity of youngChelydra serpentina's blood antimicrobial substances16 young Chelydra serpentine were divided into four treatments, each treatment 4 , in each treatment celiac injection were formulated with 0.9%NaCl 0.5ml, killed 1 × 109/ml A.hydrophila 0.1ml,0.3ml and 0.5ml respevtively ,and trail vein were took out blood after 12hr. Methods of extraction by improved Tris-HCl were used in extraction and analysis of Chelydra serpentina blood peptides. After the antimicrobial activities being tested by Escherichiacoli, Salmonelladerby and A.hydrophila ,in each treatment the inhibition rate of the extracts were 41.7%, 56.7%, 63.0% and 68.8%; 53.3%, 61.5%, 78.0% and 88.9%;...
