Edema disease and diarrhea of weaned piglets that have important impact on stock raising, which are caused by Escherichia coli F18. bacteria invade and propagate in the microvilli of small intestine by fimbriae. Fimbriae expressing F18ab can make exterotoxins with Shiga Toxin Type II Variant ,which can make the death of leiomyoma of endodermis cells and small blood vessel and micro blood vessel ,change thoroughtfare of blood vessel, make oedema of disease pigs. The pigs can show innervation symptom when oedema pressure nerve . While ,the fimbriae expressing F18ac play role with ST or LT, the bacteria invade and propagate and release enterotoxemia which have toxicity act on bar cell and induce diarrhea by changing the balance of water and salt metabolize in small intestine,When fimbria adhere to acceptor of cells and micro hair of small intestine epidemis cells tightly..The F18 fimbriae have six subunits. The major structure of fimbrae is made up of polymerid of the subunit A.The subunit B,C and D are the chaperone or usher protein in the course of maturing ,assembling and synthesization of fimbriae. The subunit E and F are necessary for the adhesin of the fimbriae by infecting the length of fimbriae.two fedE and two fedF mutants were idebtified that may lose their capacity to adhere to the isolated procine villi. Moreover these mutants can affect the lenth of fimbriae.
