The infection of clinical mastitis and subclinical mastitis were researched through epidemiology investigation in several large and middle scale cattle farm of Guizhou Province. Compared several diagnosis method for dairy cow subclinical mastitis in order to find the best method. The bacteria causing clinical mastitis were isolated and identified. The reasch of drug susceptibility testing was also operated in vitro. And reseached the category of bacterium, the number of bacterium and drug susceptibility for these bacterium of normal and subclinical mastitis milk to discuss the main type of bacterium in subclinical milk, the best antibiotic for the bacterium. In a certain herd (310 cows), the incidence of the subclinical and clinical mastitis was collected by an Epidemiology investigation. As the investigation showed, the cow infection rate of clinical mastitis is 2.26% (7 of 310); that of subclinical mastitis is 57.78% (181 of 310). The GVFBXquarter infection rate of subclinical mastitis is 30.99% (371 of 1197).Compared several clinical fast diagnosis methods, the consequence indicates the difference is remarkable (P<0.05) between B.T.B, N.F.T, chlorine nitric acid silver test and SCC , But the accordant rate between C.M.T and SCC is 100%.The subclinical mastitis diagnosticum — Q.M.T which is compounded by one kind of anion surface active agent is as good as C.M.T and SCC in the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis.184 bacterial strains were isolated from 99 normal milk samples of subclinical mastitis, and 335 bacterial strains were isolated from 155 milk samples of subclinical mastitis, the main bacterial strains is staphylococci and streptococci(274/335,81.79%).The drug susceptibility testing indicates that Quinotones, Cephazolins and Aminoglycosides have good inhibitory effection. The difference of the MIC is big for each kind of bacteria to different drugs.
