Scleroderma guani Xiao et Wu, a parasitic warp widely used in biological control, has shown good effects on controlling wood-boring insects in forests, gardens, economic crops and medicinal plants. Yet there is no uniform industrial standard on this species'breeding. The work on quantifing breeding targets still lack of systematic and experimental parameters. This paper studied the insufficient or non-integrated contents of Scleroderma guani Xiao et Wu's breeding technologies. The result will help to make industrial breeding efficiently, and improve this species'application in biological contral. The outcomes are listed below.1. Different amounts of female warps and their hosts have different effects on the breeding: The average amount of female warps per tube has no remarkable effect on breeding, but obviously affects weight(per thousand) and stature of their F1 generation; The average amount of female warps per tube has remarkable effects on the amount, weight(per thousand) and stature of warps'F1 generation. In industrial breeding, if 12mm×50mm tubes are used as a unit, it's more common to use 5 larva of Saperda populnea and 4~5 female warps. Sometimes, the amount of female warps and hosts in single tube could be based on the density of target pests and the amount of female warps released on one plant.2. In temperature of 5~10℃, 0~30 days'period is best for the grown Scleroderma guani Xiao et Wu's storage, 30~45 days'period is still proper for its storage and 45~60 days'period is the longest time for the storage.3. After been rejuvenated, the biological characters of Scleroderma guani Xiao et Wu have been improved remarkably in both F0 and F1 generations, which prove the biologic rejuvenation has its validity.
