SCP means to protein in single cell body. It has high protein and rich nutrient. Now there is severely short of protein resource in the world, especially in China. With the improvement of living standard, the resources of protein feed are far beyond satisfaction in the need of feed industry. The discovery of new protein feed resources has become an important subject in our country. SCP production in the mature process has developed very slowly ever since for a long time ago due to its high cost. So it is significant to explore an economical and reasonable technique. In this paper, SCP made of cassava residua by solid-state fermentation was studied. A technique to have an application potential in industrialization was explored. The main projects are as follows:1. A prime Candida utilis strain was selected. A higher quality SCP product was got by hydrolyzing starch using industrial saccharidase and solid-state fermentation.2.
