Emitter is the most important equipment in drip irrigation system. Its capability directly influences the quality and cost of drip irrigation. The performance index of emitter include flux coefficient and state index, however the main index of evaluating emitter performance is the manufacture warp coefficient which depends on emitter structure parameters. Emitter performance depends on its own characteristics which include channel form, channel section area, channel section form and channel length. Investigating the relationship between emitter channel structure parameters and its function has important application value in scientific designing.This paper includes tests and simulations. Firstly, one of the best hydraulic function channel structures was chosen from five emitters, which were carried out in laboratory. Secondly, data simulating was researched by using FEMLAB software, at the same time, the channel's inner distributed pressure, velocity distribution and the conversion of energy were analyzed. The conclusions were as following:(1)FEMLAB can better simulate current press, distribution and changing principles of velocity, and energy transformation. The FEMLAB software is an important tool of researching channel structure and function of emitter.The FEMLAB software is a professional finite element analyzing software package which was made by COMSOL. It is based on differential equation's scientific and engineer problem, through modeling and imitating real calculation under alternative exploitation environment system which includes the structural mechanics module, the electromagnetic module, the heat transfer module, the chemical engineering module and the earth science module and so on. The best feature of it is that people who use it can operate it through modeling, and the graphical interface which is the simplest method in set up modeling, the model directly used through graph in which flow movement in emitter can be easily find out .(2)The relationship between emitter and channel length is negative correlation, and the relationship between emitter and channel section area is positive correlation.Through simulating analysis of three different channel section area in rectangle channel...
