The main aim of this assay is to study the family identification of Fenneropenaeus chinensis using microsatellite marker technical and to construct the genetic linkage map of F. chinensis using RAPD and SSR makers. In the present study, we want to investigate the potential application of microsatellite DNA markers in the parentage determination of the family groups of F. chinensis as well as exploring family unique markers, which could be finally used in the identification of communally reared F. chinensis families, family unique marker-assisted selective breeding and gene localization. On the other said, the construction of the F. chinensis moderate density genetic linkage maps here open the way for Marker-Assisted Selection program (MAS), comparative genomics and quantitative trait loci (QTL) gene location and clone.Six microsatellite markers were used to estimate the kinship and examine the genetic diversity of the 5 controlled mating Fenneropenaeus chinensis families. All the microsatellite loci were polymorphic except locus EN0018. The five polymorphic loci displayed high genetic difference between each family. The polymorphic information content (PIC) of the 5 loci was 0.806 5 at EN0033 locus, 0.696 8 at RS0683, 0.728 7 at RS0859, 0.741 4 at RS062 and 0.741 4 at RS0622, respectively. Thirty alleles were detected in five families tested at 5 microsatellite loci. The number of the alleles at each locus was between 5 and 8. Four family unique alleles were found out: 1 in 2# family; 1 in 4# family; 2 in 5 # family. Sixty kinds of genotypes were acquired. All the parental genotypes of the 5 families were inferred based on the genotypes of the parents and the progeny known. Based on the unique alleles between 5 families, each family could be distinguished from the others. The results showed...
