Derzsy's disease is a acute or subacute septic infectious disease of gosling with a high mortality caused by Goose Parvovirus(GPV). Muscovy Duck parvorirus(MDPV)is similar to GPV in many ways, such as morphology, physical and chemical character, biochemistry, cultural character, immunological character and genomic structure, though there are many differences in pathogenicity. Not only can GPV infect goslings, but also Muscovy ducklings, but MDPV infect Muscovy ducklings exclusively. In order to further study the infection spectrum differences of GPV and MDPV,and the method for prevention and control the Derzsy's disease, the genetic variation studying of epidemic strains of GPV is very important.Goose paramyxovirus disease with a high morbidity and mortality, caused by Goose paramyxovirus(GPMV),a member of Paramyxoviridae. The digestive system is the primal character of clinical symptom and pathological changes. GPMV can infect all varieties and all ages of geese. The infection spectrum of Newcastle disease virus(NDV) has been extending endlessly. From NDV infected geese in 1 997,the low virulent strain of NDV was also isolated in Muscovy ducks and swine from 2 000 to 2 005. So the study of the genetic variation of GPMV,an antigenic variant of NDV,have a important meaning to further study the molecular biology mechanism of species-breaking spread of NDV.According to the nucleotide sequence of GPMV in GenBank,a pairs of primers...
