Diamondbace moth (Plutella xylostella L), which belong to Lepidoptera Plutellidae, is an important worldwide pest to cruciferous vegetables. It causes serious damage to cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage(Brassica oleracea var.Capitata) and cauliflower(B.oleracea var.Botrytis ). So vegetable production is seriously threatened. To provide theoretical basis for Plutella xylostella integrated control, studies on the control effect of Plutessa xylostella with Synthetic Sex Pheromone. The relults are summarized as follows:1.The luring effect of synthetic sex pheromone of diamondback moth was studied in field. An applied trap with a lure could lure moths as many as 4 flesh female moths could in maximum. Had high performance and long-acting. After the female adult eclosed 6 days, its seduction lowered rapialy, while within 10 days ,the seduced core remained higher ability to seduce the king.2. The research result of the total moth in the field and the seduced moth number of the sex-attractant was that they possessed the same development trend, the number of lured moth(x) were related with the total number of moth(y) (including the lured moths), they were modeled just as the following formulae:y1=6.2144x+319.51(r =0.8764)y2 =5.3017x +0.9114(r =0.9114).3.The controlling effect of the different seduced pot number against Plutella xylostessa L. was that the seduced pot number increased,the seduced number increased between 1-2 and 3-5 seduced pot had significance of difference,while between 3 and 5 seduced pot had no significance of difference.4.The cotrolling effect of applying the sex-attractant successively showed that from the first to the second stubble,the egg-laying number reduced 2.81%.5.The Mating disruption suggest that the density of the sex-attractant was the major factor to affect the drift of course. The Mating disruption took on negative correlation with the distance of the seduced core .That is to say the less the distance of the seduced core the better the Mating disruption .on the contrast,the worse the Mating.6. The comparative experiment of the three controlling method showed that the cortrolling effect of the trapping and mating disraption was lowerer than that of Bt. within 25 days,while between 25 and 50 days, the controlling effect of the mating disraption and Bt. were both 61.17%.7. The appling test of the sednced core on the forecast suggested that the seduced moth number of the sex-phermone was evidently higher than that of the black light, the seduced moth number of the seduced core on the hibernating generation and the first adult was 2-3 times the black light, so the using of seduced core conld draw on trustworthy forecast conclusion.8.The oppling of the seduced pot in the field indicated that the economic efficiency increased 23.52 RMB for placing one seduced pot, and the ratio of output to input was 11.76.
