The forest, the main part of terrestrial ecosystem and the biggest coenosis in the land, is the material foundation the human society can survive. Due to the influence of natural causes and human elements, frequent outbreaks of forest plant diseases have caused the serious pressure and threat to our national economy development. Therefore the protection from forest plant diseases is one of the important tasks to protect forest, maintain ecological environment and realize the national economy sustainable development. Although the forest plant diseases are too complicated to predict and deal with its possible arrival, it is likely to find a new method to resist and reduce the occurrence of some plant diseases through the preliminary analysis, the forecast of forest plant diseases and conduction of reasonable decision-making.This paper starts the research from the analysis of regional forest space structure and the needs to protect against forest plant diseases .Then the paper puts forward the opinion that the occurrence of some forest plant diseases is related to the regional forest space structure and then conducts the evaluation research on relations between plant diseases and the space structure on the basis of the study on current prevention and control of some forest plant diseases and features of the regional forest plant diseases, and the mechanism of forest resources space structure ,also the study on the theory and current application of space structure analysis technology and the methodology.In view of the above mentioned questions, the paper firstly discusses the influence of forest space structure on the growth of some forest plant diseases, and then analyzes the features of forest plant diseases occurrence and the relations between forest plant diseases and society, economy, the spatial factor in natural environment. Moreover, the paper proposes the frame structure on evaluation of protection against forest plant diseases, which establishes several kinds of target weighing computational method and the target measurement, and finally establishes the evaluation system on protection against forest plant diseases.On the above discussion, the paper carries out the study on the evaluation technical support platform design of protection against forest plant diseases, such as the design goal and the principle, the evaluation flow, and proposes the fundamental overall logical organization and the physical structure, and conducts the realization of the dynamic production technology, the spatial analysis technology and the evaluation method and the model of target system structure.In order to confirm the research conception, method and technology, the paper analyzes theexperiment on forest plant diseases in Lin'an city, Zhe jiang Province, mainly through the analysis on current forest space structure in Lin'an, and the evaluation on the data of protection against the forest plant diseases in several observation places.
