Computer Model Of One-Dimensional Unsaturated Soil-Water Movement

From the theory of soil-water movement, one-dimensional unsaturated soil-water movement's model is analyzed and calculated by numerical calculation method. Then, using computer technology, combined the fine output function of MATLAB, the paper chooses Visual Basic as main development platform of this software development, and the computer model of one-dimensional unsaturated soil-water movement's mathematical calculation is accomplished. Afterward, the result is validated by using the laboratory measured date and document data. This software interface and menu are made in Chinese, it has very important value on all-round extending unsaturated soil-water movement's calculation, forecasting and monitoring, it fills in gap of applicability software of unsaturated soil-water movement's mathematical calculation in China. Major work &findings are listed as follows:1. According to the mathematic model characteristic of unsaturated soil-water movement, the software interface's overall design and its inner structure's conformation are accomplished. The software is handled in Chinese, it will be a specialized field's applicability software which can run and work in the Windows environment.2. The author analyzed the selection method of soil hydraulic parameters, and their application and limitation were compared. And they are written into the software for choosing to use.3. The major factor affecting numerical calculation accuracy (Step length) is discussed, according to a group of measured data, try calculating is considered to be a common method how to choose the step length about a special problem.4. In the process of developing software, the most content is made by Visual Basic. For the images outputting, the author call MATLAB by the MmatrixVB method, this approach makes up for Visual Basic's defects in images outputting to a certain degree, and the output effect isvery good.5. From software testing discipline, the software of one-dimensional unsaturated soil-water movement's mathematical calculation is carried out a systematic testing. The black box testing is made by using laboratory data and document data; the module structure and procedure details are checked by the white box testing.
