The research is about forest vegetation how to influence the soil erosion on thehillslope on Loess Plateau. Using the equation C=(SLR1EI1+ SLR2EI2+......SLRiEIi)/EI(?)including Preliminary land utilization,crown level cover,surface cover,surface stochastic roughness,soil moisture calculate C.The some progress has been made by the 13 observation runoff plots in the Caijiachuan watershed,with comparison tests and comprehensive analyst study can provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance.The result shows that,direct and indirect calculation of the vegetation cover and management factor C value is good agreement and reflects the vegetation cover and the management factor C value rule:Natural forest2=0.154, had proven in the vegetation influence soil erosion various factors, the locust tree density range of variation is 1200-2204/hm2, its vegetation cover and management factor C is 0.020-0.037.The method can be used to monitor soil erosion. The parameter Cb=0.951,Cur=0.004513kg/ (ha.cm),Cus=0.001887kg/ (ha.cm),Cuf=0.5, b=0.025.The different forest vegetation cover and management factor C values is the 0.009-0.062 in the 13 runoff plots.
