Preliminary Studies On Physiology And Biochemistry Of Larvae Of Dendrolimus Tabulaeformis Tsai Et Liu,Dendrolimus Punctatus Walker And Their Cross-breeding Offspring

Larvae and adults of Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu and Dendrolimus Punctatus Walker have many similar characteristic, they can hybridize and breed.In this paper,the experiment were be done to study Preliminarily on physiology and biochemistry of larvae of Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu, Dendrolimus punctatus Walker and their cross-breeding offspring. The main results were as follows:1 .Mensurating feeding choice of Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu,Dendrolimus punctatus Walker,and their cross-breeding offspring Using Leaf Disc. The results were: when have two needles selection, all pine caterpillars like staying the needle-leaves of Pinus tabulaeformis; for the amount of Food Intakes, Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu and Dendrolimus punctatus Walker all ate more Pinus tabulaeformis than Pinus massoniana,but their cross-breeding offspring ate more needle-leaves of Pinus massoniana.2. Mensurating midgut Esterase Isozyme of Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu ,Dendrolimus punctatus Walker,and their breeding-offsprings Using polyacrylamide gel electropherosis method. The results were: the Isozyme patterns were different obviously between Dendrolimus tabulaeformis Tsai et Liu and Dendrolimus punctatus Walker, cross-breeding offspring put up similar characteristics relative their mothers,but there is different between TP and it's mother at the second gene locus .3. Mensurating midgut Detoxification Enzyme of F₂TP Using spectrophotometry. The results were:in the condition of feeding different host plants and trans-host plants, Acetylcholinesterase activities of feeding Pinus massoniana was different from another three teams,but during feeding Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus massoniana trans-to Pinus tabulaeformis(transforming from 3rd instar), Pinus tabulaeformis trans-to Pinus massoniana(transforming from 3rd instar),their activities had no different.but Glutathione S-transferase activities in different disposed teams have obvious differences. Total Protein Contents of Acetylcholinesterase or Glutathione S-transferase in different disposed teams have obvious differences.
