As the planting area of peanut is increasing, peanut shelling mechanization is more and more important in the process of peanut production. At present, peanut shelling machine has great limitations, such as lowing shelling rate, highing crashing rate etc.. After having rsearched peanut production status and the methods of the peanut shelling of china, the peanut sheller tester is designed. The main contents are as follows:In order to educe the optical power of crashing peanuts, this paper does many experiments to analyze the mechanical speciality of peanuts. According to the structure and the principle of the existent shelling equipments, the double cylinder shelling testers of peanuts and the cylinder bar shelling testers of peanuts are designed.In the optimum experiment of performance parameter of the double cylinder type peanut shelling tester, this paper mainly describes the relationship of the structure and motion parameters with performance targets by the experiment of the main indexes — shelling drum rotatation speed, speed difference, shelling drum gap and peanut's breed, while the dominant factors which control peanut stripping targets and their markedness levels are achieved.In the optimum experiment of performance parameter of the cylinder and barrier type peanut shelling tester, this paper mainly describes the relationship of the structure and motion parameters with performance targets by the experiment of the main indexes — cylinder roate speed, cylinder diameter, barriers' clearance, while the dominant factors which control peanut shelling targets and their markedness levels are achieved.Not only does the cylinder and barrier type peanut shelling tester have great use in practice, but also has high shelling rate. By the performance experiments and result analysis of the cylinder and barrier type peanut shelling tester, the regression mathematical models are created between the structure and motion parameters — cylinder roate speed, cylinder diameter, barriers' clearance and performance parameters, and explored the relation between parameters and performance of the peanut shelling targets.The reseach proves that the cylinder and barrier type peanut shelling tester is better than the double cylinder type peanut shelling testerin actual production, and the paper results offer the practice guidance for peanut shelling machinery. For the same time, it offers the theory foundation and scientific guidance.
