The Pinus massoniana forest is one of the most important timber resources in Fujian Province. The Pinus massoniana forest occupies 70% of the forests in Wuyi Scenery Spot, which plays a significant role in the landscape of spot. The tourism is the Mount Wuyi city pillar industry, tourists flow increases year after year. With the increasing of tourists, the destruction of the forests in the spot is increasing. Based on reserching the composition and diversity of the arthropod community and protecting forests' arthropod, useing the natural control ability to constitude the forestry management measures to aim at the purpose of integrared pest control. The main reserch results were as follows:1. Based on a systematic investigation of the structure of the arthropod community at five representative sampling sites of the masson pine's forest in Wuyi mountain scenic spot from 2005 to 2006, the result showed that there were 35745 arthropod individuals collected from the forest belonging to 2 classes, 17 orders, 112 families and 236 species; among 19938 arthropod individuals collected from the canopy of forest belonging to 2 classes, 16 orders, 87 families and 200 species, and 15807 individuals from the underlayer of forest belonging to 2 classes, 17 orders, 103 families and 224 species. The underlayer group had 19 families and 52 species more than the canopy group, they both had the six main orders that were Diptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Homoptera and Hemiptera.2. Through analysis and comparison of the the composition, structure and diversity of the canopy group and the underlayer group, the result showed that: there were 176 common species in these two groups. Lepidoptera were the most common in the orders. Using S_j, C_s, C_l, S_b and S_w etc. to mensurate the similarity of species, the similarity of each index numbers were more than 0.7. It showed that a high similarity of species composition between the canopy and the underlayer. There was a significantly positive relativity of the individual number of natural enemy and the promotion of species diversity in the relationship between 2 groups.3. By the systematic investigation on the arthorop community in treatment and control stands, the result showed that the orders, families, species and numbers of the arthorop in the treatment stand had different grade fall. The control stand had 2 orders, 4 families, 30 species and 2044 individuals than the control stand, two orders were Neuroptera and Phasmida. The control stand arthorop community had higher index value of S, N, H' and J, but it's value of C smaller than the control stand. The control stand arthorop community had more stability. 4. The man-made interference in the masson pine foerest of Wuyi scenery spot mostly included two aspects: visitor's enter the mountain tour and distruction of the tea grower. By the systematic investigation with the arthropod of the frequent disturbance area and the less distructance area. It indicated that arthropod community was consistent on orders numbers, but less families, species and individual numbers of the arthorop were found in the frequent disturbance area, meanwhile the man-made interference decreased the species richness, diversity and evenness, and increased the dominant concentration. The arthropod numbers in the frequent disturbance area assumed the obviously coming down trend, but the arthropod numbers in the frequent disturbance area assumsed the obviously uptrend in the May to June. In all, less disturbance area had much better diversity and stability, and the ability of regulating and controlling was stronger.5. By investigatetion on the arthropod community in three age stands (10 a, 20 a and 30 a), result indicated that the advantage species of the canopy group was Cinara pintabulaeformis Zhang et Zhang. Phytophagous insect individual quantity was high, and the vermins were rampant in the canopy. The advantage species of the underlaye group was spiders. There were high species richness, diversity and individual quanlity in the 20 a and 30 a stands, but their dominant concentration value was lower than 10 a stands. The diversity and stability of the forest aged 20 a were the highest among the others.
