XilinGol grassland is the main part of Inner Mongolia grassland and its typical steppe is a representative of the typical steppes in China. Because of this, many scholars have made a lot of in-depth research on the study area. However, because most of the research has been done according to sample steppes under enclosed design and the grazing gradient experiments in accordance with the distance from the herd household (or water points), there is a certain gap between the sample steppes of the research and the herdsmen's actual production of turf. Therefore, the results got from the research cannot accurately reflect the characteristics and dynamics of grassland ecosystems in the process of utilization. In order to reveal the influences of different using types on the existing aboveground biomass, the biodiversity and the exact characteristics of soil physical and chemical properties under corresponding using types, taking Company Seven of Baiyinxile Pasture,XilinGol League in Inner Mongolia as an experimental zone, the research selects multiple household pastures and finally reaches the following conclusions: biomass and its trends under different using types. The phenomenon can be discovered from the perspective of peak height, peak time, and the monthly changes in multiples of the community existing aboveground biomass. The research also points out that the over increasing of the community aboveground biomass often means a severe grassland degradation.(2) In the Stipa spp. + Leymus chinensis community under different using types, except for a small difference between the existing aboveground amount of perennial rhizome grasses on functional groups steppe and the percentage of it in the community total aboveground biomass, there exist significant differences among all the other functional communities. In the community of Stipa spp. under different using types, except that there is no significant difference between plant functional groups of annuals and biennial, significant differences can be found among all the other functional communities.(3) Different using types have no significant influences on the community biodiversity. The major factor that can decide the biodiversity is the own types of the communities but not the using types of them. Under heavy grazing, there has been a decrease in the community biodiversity.(4) Both The community biodiversity under different using types and the aboveground biomass show a relation of negative correlation. There is a closer relation between the two elements under the using of mowing than that of grazing.(5) Different using types have got different influences on the characters of soil physical and chemical properties. Compared with the grazing utilization, there exists a more significant increase in the amount of TOC, TN, shallow (0~20cm) of soil moisture, soil texture and the soil bulk density between 0~10cm and 10~20cm appears smaller. What's more, a close relation between the physical and chemical characters of some soil is also discovered.
