In recent years, the development of installation vegetables is very fast, but the phenomenon of continuous cropping barrier is very serious, Producer wants to establish a reasonable structure of vegetable production. Reasonable use of Plant Allelopathy Effect will get rid of the obstacles of continuous cropping, increase the multiple cropping index and improve farmland productivity. Garlic is a normal crop shown good effects in intercropping systems, Allelopathy of volatile should be considered when intercropping designing in facilities. But there are few reports about the allelopathy of garlic volatile. This research tends to explore the allelopathy of garlic volatile, focusing on the effect of garlic plant volatile on vegetables, isolate and identify chemical constituents, preliminary study on allelopathy mechanism. Main results are as follows:1. Study on the effects of isolated garlic plant volatile on seed germination and seedling growth of receiver crops in semi-closed container. The results indicate that: All receiver crops show a certain allelopathic effects. There are dual effects, promotion at low concentration and suppression at high concentration. Allelopathy was different in the different receiver crops. With integrate subjection value, the sequence of receiver crop allelopathy was radish > lettuce > cabbage > cucumber > tomato > melon. Receiver crop was selected to study allelopthy of different stage of the garlic seedling, which was radish. Cucumber was selected to study garlic seedling volatile in living.2. Study on allelopathy effect of living garlic plant volatile on cucumber in low plastic tunnel. The bio-analysis results indicated that the dual effects on seedling growth of cucumber, promotion at low concentration and suppression at high concentration were found. Garlic plant volatile can promote the growth of cucumber by treatment of 80/1.77m3. The enzyme determination indicated that garlic plant volatile by 80/1.77m3 can promote the activities of protective enzymes (POD,CAT,SOD) and enzymes (PPO,PAL) activity about disease resistance in cucumber.3. Determinate the effect of different stage of garlic plant volatile on radish seed germination, the result showed that the sequence of allelopathy was early seedling stage > regreening stage > before bolting4. Garlic plant volatile was extracted by steam distillation under reduced pressure. Study on effect of garlic plant volatile on F.oxysoporum f. sp. cucumerinum, Fulria fulva, Botrytis cenerea and Phytophthora capsici L. by growth rate methods. The result showed that the inhibition effects were found, and the inhibiting effects strengthen with the increasing concentration. When concentration is 1.0g·ml-1, the inhibitory rates were15.58%,14.41%,37.62%,36.30%of Fulria fulva, F. oxysoporum f. sp. cucumerinum, Botrytis cenerea and Phytophthora capsici L.5. Garlic plant volatile was extracted by steam distillation under reduced pressure, and the chemical components were determined by GC-MS analysis. The result showed that the major constitutes is diallyl disulphide (23.33%), 1,3-dithiane (18.34%), dibutyl phthalate (6.30%). The others content as alkane, olefin, esters and benzene compounds were low.
