Most of characters of wheat are quantitative traits, such as quality traits, growth period, yield characters and so on.Because of the influences of the complexity of genome of common hexaploid wheat and other aspects,QTL Mapping of the major properties of starch in common wheat was seldom to be reported in china. To offer references for marker assisted selection and quality breeding of wheat,The study on the analysis of starch properties in wheat and QTL primary mapping on the major starch properties was carried out by using a population of 178 recombinant inbred lines(RIL)derived from common wheat 99G44 and Jing 771 and using SSR marker technology.Major results were as follows:1.By the analysis of starch content,RVA parameters,SP etal using a population of 178 recombinant inbred lines(RIL)derived from common wheat 99G44 and Jing 771,the results show the major starch properties were controlled by multiple genes, which were quantitative characters. The datas acquired were continuous normal distributions or skewness distributions, which showed they were quantitative characters heredity traits. The variation coefficient was 6.43%~46.03% and the variation was big. Therefore, the total characters were suitable for further QTL analysis.2.There was a complex correlationship among wheat starch quality traits. The result indicated that it was positive or significant correlation between amylase content and RVA parameters except pasting temperature. No correlation was found between amylase content and SP.There was significant correlation among RVA parameters and there was a siganicant positive correlation between RVA parameters and SP.But there was no significant correlation between pasting temperature and other quality traits.3.108 Simple Sequence Repeat(SSR) makers were assigned on a linkage map which contained 20 chromosomes by Mapmaker3.0,the total length of the linkage map equals to 2026.80cM,with an average interval of 18.77cM.4.Ten QTLs which were concerned with wheat starch properties were detected. One main-effect additive QTL about Total starch amount(QTSA-6B) was detected, which was located on 6B chromosome ,the relative contribution was 10.91%;One main-effect additive QTL about Amylopectin content(QAmp-1B)was detected, which was located on 1B chromosome, the relative contribution was 9.54%;One main-effect additive QTL about Amylose (QAms-6B) was detected, which was located on 6B chromosome, the relative contribution was 7.29%;One main-effect additive QTL about Amylopectin/Amylose(QAmp/Ams-6B) was detected, which was located on 6B chromosome, the relative contribution was 12.69%;One main-effect additive QTL about Peak vicosity(QPV-1B) was detected, which was located on 1B chromosome, the relative contribution was 5.91%;Two main-effect additive QTLs about Breakdown(QBD-1B,QBD-2D) were detected, which was located on 1B,2D chromosome, the relative contribution was 12.95%;One main-effect additive QTL about Setback(QSB-1B) was detected, which was located on 1B chromosome, the relative contribution was 6.99%;One main-effect additive QTL about Through(QTrough-3B) was detected, which was located on 3B chromosome, the relative contribution was 5.16%;One main-effect additive QTL about SP (QSP-1B) was detected, which was located on 1B chromosome ,the relative contribution was 7.02%.5.Thirty interaction QTLs were detected, which located 1A,1B,1D,2A,2B,2D,3A,3B,3D,4A,4B,5A,5D,6A,6B,6D,7A,7B and 7D chromosomes.
