Immunization Of Meals And Canine Distemper Live Attenuated Vaccine To Young Dogs

Canine distemper virus(CDV) and meals virus(MV) vaccine strain were isolated from the canine 6—mixed vaccine and meals vaccine with the Veto cell line.The y multiplied as high as 10^-4.5 and 10^-476/0.1ml on the cell line.14 newborn do gs and their mother' s serum neutralization antibody to CDV were measured.The results are that the titer of newborn dogs are 1:12,1:24:1:40 and 1:22 at the age of 2,9,16 and 23 days,their mother 1:75.At the age of 23 days,the newborn dogs were divided into 3 groups,â… ,â…¡,â…¢.Groupâ… were incubated CDV vaccine of 10^5.5 TCID_50, Groupâ…¡MV vaccine of 10^5.76 TCID)₅₀ andâ…¢Vero cell culture,the results were that the titer of antibody to CDV of group I is lower than that of the others.The newborn dogs were challenged with 10⁷TCID₅₀ of LPV9,Groupâ… were not protective,the others protective.Groupâ…¡had higher cell—mediated protection to CD than the other groups.The research results suggest that the MV vaccine could supply the newborn dogs with the protection to CD.
