Spinibarbus sinensis is one kind of fish with imporment value in the YangZi River. In order to probe into the development law of the digestive system, three experiments were designed. In first experiment, the development of digestive system was investigated histologically; In second experiment two, growth, the variety of digestive enzymes activities in Spinibarbus sinensis juvenile was investigated; In third experiment, the variety of digestive enzymes and growth in Spinibarbus sinensis influenced by hungry was investigated. The results extracted from the experiment list as follows:1.The development of digestive system in Spinibarbus sinensis larvaeThe development of digestive system was investigated histologically. The results of experiment as follows:Two major periods of differentiation could be distinguished. During the first period, within five days of hatching and prior to exogenous feeding, the digestive tract exhibited extensive differentiation from a straight tube to a looped alimentary canal with clearly distinguishable oesophagus and gut. The second period corresponded to the formation of the gastric glands around 18-24 days. Some pancreatic tissues even extend into the liver.2. The effect of different diets on growth and digestive enzyme activities in Spinibarbus sinensis larvaeGrowth, the activities of some digestive enzymes was studied in Spinibarbus sinensis larvae during the fifty days of life. Samples were taken at l,2,3,4,5,7,9,12,15,18,22,26,30,35,40,45,50DAH.In order to monitor growth,a pool of 20 larvae was sampled in triplicate. For enzyme determinations,at each sampling time pooled sample of befitting larvae were collected in triplicate. Older larvae were dissected in order to obtain the abdomen segment, the supernatant was subsequently used for analyses of enzyme activity and protein content. The results as follows:The SGR was 27.05%(diet group),34.58% (microparticulate group). In lday, the activities of protease, amylase, lipase and AKP had detected. The activities of digestive enzymea exhibited a pattern characteristic of deoeloping animals :from 1day to 4 days, the strong increase in protease activities to the maximum, then, the protease specific activities progressively decreased, the specific activities were minimum point, there are marked differences on the protease activity of 3groups,in final peorid the protease activity of diet group is higher than microparticulate group. The activity of amylase have an increase in all groups, and marked differences are remain the same, the strong marked differences in amylase activities exhibited in15DAH,then keep this trend in final peorid. The lapise activity changes in all experiment acutely and rises by turns,in all groups, extreme marked differences are exhibited in whole groups. From 1day to 15days,all groups exhibited similar trend, the activities of AKP between diet group and microparticulate group have a same orderliness in all experiment.3.The effect of different hungry time on growth and digestive enzyme activities in Spinibarbus sinensis juvenileIn the present experiment, the Spinibarbus sinensis juvenile were divided into six groups: the first group was hungry for 0day(no hungry group),the second group was hungry for lday, then hungry for 3days,5days,7days,9days each. Samples were taken at 0,1,15,30DAH.In order to monitor growth in this trial,a group of 20 larvae was sampled in befitting triplicate. For enzyme determinations,at each sampling time pooled sample of juvenile, were collected in triplicate. The results of experiment as follows: The SGR of Spinibarbus sinensis juvenile was 11.80%(0d),l 1.52%(ld),10.67% (3d),10.54%(5d),9.38%(7d),8.51%(9d)o Significant difference in SGR was observed among the experiment groups (p<0.05).During the experiments, the protease specific activities were ruduced with age. The specific activities were slowly reduced in all groups. After 5days' hunger, the specific activities were increased. During the experiment, the specific activities of 5days group were high than 3days group, and approach the 0day group and 1day group, thus it can be seen, the 5day group exhibited compensatory growth.
