In recent years, the gastroenteritis, specially the bacteroidal and virulent gastroenteritis created the huge economic loss for our country poultry cultivation industry, the country invested the massive manpower and physical resource for this to develop medicine which is highly effective to treat the gastroenteritis. Unify northwest unique Chinese medicine resources, developed the Chinese medicine compound prescription preparation "Li Xuekang". In order to further promotes this medicine, this research from the Pharmacology, toxicology all quarters have been conducted the preliminary research facing this medicine,this research altogether has four aspects, First is the Li Xuekang preliminary security appraisal; Second is Preliminary studies on antidiarrheic mechanism of Li Xuekang; Third is the manufacture of the pathologic model of germs diarrhea in mice and the theraping effect of Li Xuekang to that model; Forth is the Li Xuekang clinical pharmacodynamics preliminary study. Through the related experiment, obtained that the Li Xuekang have no acute toxicity and subacute toxicity ,also its maximal tolerance dosage is extremely high, is 80g/kg, therefore the secure scope to take orally this medicine is very broad. The experiment showed that, the Li Xuekang effective component has antiviral and the antibacterial sterilization function, also can obviously reduce the tensity and the frequency which the small intestine contracts; This research used the E.coli to establish the bacterium diarrhea model, and had carried on the treatment experiment to diarrhea animal on this model, And obtained the good treatment result, at the same time This research also performed the clinical curative effect experiment on dog, swine and chicken,effectiveness respectively is 90.32%, 91.25% and 89.76%, explained that this medicine have very good curative effect to treat gastroenteritis.
