The characters of root system growth were compared with 6 spring soybean varieties in the field experiment in 2005.The effect of the solid seeding on the rule of root system growth and the upside was studied using Heinong41 as a material in 2006. The main results were as follows:1. The effect of the solid seeding on the rule of root system growth and the upside was proved upThe root system dry weight, the root wound, and the side root reducing activity were all reduced along with the density increase. The above targets firstly increased and then reduced along with row spacing changed narrow under 450000/hm2 densities; the above targets all increased along with row spacing changed narrow under 600000/hm2 densities. The suitable density and the row spacing configuration caused root to be more coordinated with the upside. The high yield was obtained at last.2. The characters of root system growth on different spring soybean varieties were compared in the field experimentHeinong41 compared with other varieties on root system character. It had the stronger outward expansion tendency in the horizontal space, the stronger gripped downward tendency in the vertical space; the root system dry weight was the highest in each time, the root wound was the biggest, the side root reducing activity was the highest. The above targets were the lowest on Ken18; other 4 varieties'targets were among them.3. The root system targets were proposed of the maximum yield (5063.900kg/hm2) in Heinong41The 77.1% quantity of root system was distributed initially in 0~1/4 row spacing scope; the 80.7% quantity of root system was distributed initially in 0~20cm scope in vertical direction in mature stage. The biggest per root weight was 4.911g in filling stage. The most root wound was 355.143mg/h in podding stage. The biggest TTC reducing activity was 0.158mg/ (g·h) in flowering stage. The final root-shoot radio was 0.172.
