Tamarix hispida is one of primary species in Tarim River valley.It has widely adaptability in zoology,such as drought-resistant,salt-alkali-resistent,high-Temperature-resistence,wind defended,and so on.So,there are many means to research the physiological and biochemical characteristics of Tamarix hispida,not only resuming zoology and protectting environment,but also offering theoretics for cultivating species of drought-resistant in gene engineering.The paper studieds the change of physiological and biochemical in Tamarix hispida in 90% ,70% ,50% ,30%,10% of relative soil water content after 20 days'treatment,at the same time,distilled protein of leaves in Tamarix hispida and proceeded two-dimensional electrophoresis.The result showed that during water stress,chl a content decreased continually;chl b content increased slowly from 50% relative soil water content to 30%,afterwards decreased, total chl content decreased;amylum content decreased quickly,decreased by 58.28% from 90% relative soil water content to 10%;proline content and solute sugar content increased continually, increased respectively by 3.252% and 71% from 90% relative soil water content to 10%,they are both effective osmoregulation material in water stress;MDA content increased before relative soil water content to 50%,afterwards decreased, increased quickly after relative soil water content 30%,increased by 31% from 90% relative soil water content to 10%;SOD activity and POD activity increased continually, increased respectively by 117% and 296%,from 90% relative soil water content to 10%,they protected plant in early days in water stress;POD activity increased in 30% relative soil water content,then decreased;solute protein content increased before relative soil water content to 30%,then decreased,decreased by 35.5% from 90% relative soil water content to 10%.2.we distilled leaves protein for electrophoresis in different water stress in Tamarix hispida.SDS-PAGE shows there are five pieces of changed protein band at least.Two- dimensional electrophoresis shows there are thirteen pieces of changed protein point.In these protein,nine protein point have changed in expression quantity,four protein point is new synthesization protein.At the same time,we distilled leaves protein for electrophoresis in different adversity stress in Tamarix hispida from Tarim River.It shows: 9 protein point as same as indoor treatment,4 protein point disappeared in field in many adversity stress,6 new protein point appeared.Furthermore,three new appeared protein(k,l,m) in indoor treatment can be found in many adversity stress in Tarim River valley.So,they are be proved as drought-induced protein truly.
