At the beginning of this paper ,it introduces the status quo of research on the mechanism of the process of threshing about grain ,the research on fragmentation and crack of grain in the process of threshing at home and abroad and the research on ways of checking and measuring the damage to grain at home and abroad.In this paper ,it is pointed out that the research on the threshing mechanism of damage to grain would take a great function on the development of agriculture in our country ,the improvement of quality and nutrition of grain and the enhancement of earning of famers.The research on the damage to grain in the process of threshing is opened out on two aspects:1,Analyse with mechanical theory between grain and threshing components and put a parameter of damage to grain forwardWith the Hertz theory in the contact mechanics, the compressing experimentation about grain and the impact between grain and threshing components are analysed with the Hertz theory.As a result ,we work out the the square and the pressure of contact, between grain and the compressing board, the square and pressure between grain and threshing components and the stress ratio of grain.Finally, through comparing the size of the square which grain contacts different kinds of threshing components, we analyse the different effect which different kinds of threshing components impact on grain to come into being. In this paper,we classify the scathing form of grain and rice into several groups,and we acquire the geometrical size of the damage of grain and rice with the SMZ1000 stereoscopic zoom microscope,and narrate the extent of damage in the process of threshing and thump,and we get the expression of a parameter of damage to grain and rice.2,experiments of grain of thump and simulant threshingWe take experiments just with a single experimental factor regulated with the gravitational thump equipment,and narrate the extent of damage with the parameter of damage to grain. By the data processing soft DPS, we protract the curve of a fitting function between the height of experiental factors and the parameter of damage to grain, and a fitting function between the times of experiental factors and the rate of damage to grain, and come at the height of experiental factors which causes the critical damage to grain, and the fitting model between the rate of damage and the times of thump. Finally,we check up the markedness and determinative coefficient of the recursive equations.We take experiments with the simulant threshing equipment not only with a single experimental factor regulated,but also take the orthogonal experiments. narrate the relationship intuitionisticly between the damage to grain and experimental parameters by the curve of flowing beeline which is protracted with the soft Excel. We make analysis of range and variance to the orthogonal experiments through the data process soft DPS,and the result shows that the rate of water content and the rotate speed of the platen are primary factors to the damage to the hull ,and the rotate speed of the platen is a primary factor to the damage to rice. By the data processing soft DPS, we protract the curve of a fitting polynomial function between all kinds of threshing components and the parameter of damage to grain in the process of threshing ,as a result ,we get the numerical value of rotate speed of the platen which causes the critical damage to grain . Finally,we check up the markedness and determinative coefficient of the recursive equations .The study on the rotate speed of the platen which causes the critical damage to grain will prepare for the the process of threshing work in the actual production sufficiently.
