The agricultural water-saving techniques of water harvesting irrigation were studied in arid and rainwater shortage area of Banner Zhun Geer in Inner Mongolia. These related techniques can change the time and spatial distribution of precipitation and increase the ability to control the rain. So, the coefficient of utilization of precipitation was significantly improved. This will have very important meaning and popularization value for improvement of utilization techniques of rainwater and sustainable development of arid and semi-arid area to improve income for farmer, to establish harmonious society, and promote development of rural economy, where the water resource is very shortage.The experiment was located in Zhungeer Banner where it is typical area of loess plain and drought. Under the bases of representative area experiment. combined with laboratory experiment, The collecting efficiency, index of resistance freezing, economical index and constructional technology at all parameters of more kinds of materials to collect rainwater face was tested. Then, the four kinds of materials including the soil solidified agent were selected, which are suitable for local condition, the technology indexes are excellent. Furthermore, the optimal mixture ratio, dosage, collecting efficiency, design and construction index and techniques of organic silicon which is a new type of material to collect rainwater face were determined. And the serialization and standardization project type of collecting rainwater face and application and management mode were established.Based on the insufficient irrigation and limited irrigation principle, the moisture compensative effective was studied from principle of physiology of crops. The technology of supplementary irrigation by collecting rainwater and irrigation scheduling of local main crops were systematically researched. The four kinds of modes and two kinds of technology measures of supplementary irrigation by collecting rainwater were established. At the same time, the schedule of supplementary irrigation by collecting rainwater of main crops to aim at the north area of loess tableland was established at fist time. This will provide foundation for high efficent rainwater, to improve moisture utilization ratio.At last, the rainwater collection, quality protection, storage and supplement at all different procedure were optimized and assembled. Furthermore, for the first time, water-saving agriculture integrated matching technology of regional drought farming under supplementary irrigation by collecting rainwater were systematically summarized in the north of loess tableland and put forward and established its integrated mode of agriculture technology.The research findings and their technology integration are suitable for arid farming area of loess tableland. And it has comprehensive application prospect for agriculture development, industrial structure modification of agriculture ecological reestablishment and protection in Inner Mongolia and other similar areas.
