Flos Lonicerae is the dried flower bud of Lonicera japonica Thunb. Chlorogenic acid and total flavonoids are the main chemical constituents, which have may bioactivities such as antibacterial, anti-inflammation, antioxidation and so on.Flos Lonicerae is a kind of bulk medicinal materials. With the comprehensive development and utilization of Flos Lonicerae, the demand is increasing. Therefore, how to find a solution to increase the yield and quality of Flos Lonicerae is a problem worthy to study. Fertilization can supply soil nutrients, which can stimulate the growth and development of plant. Meanwhile, fertilization can change the condition of soil, which will proote or inhibit he secondary metabolism process. Chlorogenic acid, a main effective component, is a kind of secondary metabolic products. Its biosynthesis and accumulation is the results that Flos Lonicerae has adapted the external environment for quite a long time. According to the reports, N application can improve the yield of Flos Lonicera, but has negative effect on the content of chlorogenic acid; while P application can stimulate the synthesis of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera; K application has no apparent effect. So, the effects of different ratios of N and P and different application amount on the yield and quality of Flos Lonicera should be investigated in order to provide theory basis for the plant and production of Flos Lonicera.Flos Lonicera is also a kind of liana, whose flower bud bearing and blossoming are finished by reproductive growth. CCC, DPC and uniconazol all can inhibit the vegetation growth of plant. During flower bud bearing period, a certain concentration of CCC, DPC and uniconazol can inhibit the vegetation growth, and promote the reproductive growth for the purpose of increase the yield and quality of Flos Lonicera. The Flos Lonicera in this study came from Caoyan GAP demonstration plot of Flos Lonicera of The Yangchun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hanzhong, Shannxi. The whole experiment is divided into two pars. The first part is fertilizer test, which was designed by randomized block. The levels of the ratio of N and P are: 1:3, 1:5, 1:7; and the levels of fertilization are 21,42,84 g/frusta. Each of the nine treatments applied the same amount of K (K2SO4 8g/frusta). The second part is hormone test, in which the Flos Lonicera in the field are treated by CCC (200mg/L,400mg/L,700mg/L,1000mg/L),DPC (50mg/L,100mg/L,150mg/L,200mg/L) and uniconazol (50mg/L,100mg/L,150mg/L,200mg/L),respectively. The results show that 0.5% urea and 0.02% borate increase the amount of hormone that Flos Lonicera absorb by strengthening the adhesive ability. So, all the treatments are conbined 0.5% urea and 0.02% borate, and the results are as follow:1. When the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta, the number of new branches, the length of new branches and the node number blossoming of new branches increase significantly by 59.94%,46.22%,24.93%, respectively; when the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 84g/frusta, the number of new branches increase significantly by 24.93%; when the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:7 and the quantity of fertilization is 21g/frusta, the length of flower buds increase significantly by 9.32%. The condition that the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta affects the most of the yield indexes, so this condition can be considered as the fertilization model for improving the yield of Flos Lonicera.2. When the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 21g/frusta, the contents of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera during bud and Sanqing periods increase significantly by 7.56%,22.74%; when the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta, the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera during Erbai period increases significantly by 13.86%; when the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:5 and the quantity of fertilization is 21g/frusta, the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera during Dabai period increases significantly by 11.69%; when the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta, the content of total flavonoids in Flos Lonicera during the four periods increase significantly by 34.94%,67.30%,52.29%,50.08%;The condition that the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta affects the most of the quality indexes, so this condition can be considered as the fertilization model for improving the quality of Flos Lonicera.3. After spraying hormone under different concentration and types, the yield indexes are not affected apparently, which indicate that hormone has no significant effect on the yield of Flos Lonicera. However, 700mg/L CCC can increase the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera during bud period by 28.09 % ; 200mg/L DPC can increase the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicera during Dabai period by 83.66%; 200mg/L CCC can increase the content of total flavonoids in Flos Lonicera during Dabai period by 179.08%. Flos Lonicera during Erbai and Dabai periods are commonly utilizied. Therefore, 200mg/L DPC and 200mg/L CCC are suggested to improve the quality of Flos Lonicera.Considering all the above results, the condition that the mass ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3 and the quantity of fertilization is 42g/frusta is the best fertilization model. Although hormone has no apparent effect on the yield of Flos Lonicera, 200mg/L DPC and 200mg/L CCC can improve the quality of Flos Lonicera significantly. The above study is quite useful and can be referenced by the construction of the Flos Lonicera GAP plot and provide the theory basis for the comprehensive development and utilization of Flos Lonicera.
