Grass Carp Reovirus(GCRV) is one member of Aquareovirus in the Reoviridae family, whichpossesses the most strong toxicity, and seriously threatens the fish industry of fresh water cultivation inour country. 1990s, Our country has completed the GCRV entire genesequence analysis on internationalfor the first time, and what is more, GCRV is thoroughly studied aquareovirus up to now in our world.Designs GCRV873 artificial to infect grass carp and establishes pathological model. The purchasedvirus GCRV873 has been conserved in -70℃since 1997, toxicity of virus reduces the scope to bebigger, virus hands down from generation to generation after the cell, the toxicity slightly rises again, itsTCID50 is 10-3.881/100ul; Virus cultured in cells can not cause the grass carp pathogenesis at first. Itappears the obvious pathological change when virus hands down in the grass carp after 5 generation,mainly causes the red muscle-pathological change. We carry on the official experiment by usingmanufacture sickness venom which made by the grass carp internal organs has the obvious symptom.Grass carp with infection has the clinical symptom arises in 4th days, achieves the death peak in 7thdays, enters transfers the date of return in the afterwards. Infectious grass carp displays characteristic"Excitable Hemorrhage Disease", which blushe,hyperemia,hemorrhage shows in skins,muscle,fishfin base. From Histo-pathology observation, it can be seen fatty or vacuolar degeneration in liver cells,vacuolar degeneration happens in the renal tubular epithelial cell and the cardiac muscle cells; Thekidney blood pipe wall is destroyed, the blood corpuscle leak off; Spleen cell bureau stove necrosis;Cardic muscle and skeletal muscle fiber wax type hemorrhage and necrosis. Ultrasturcturally, the viralgranule mainly exists to the kidney, other organs have not seen, therefore the kidney pathologicalchange is most serious. The mitochondria of the cardiac muscle cells, the liver cells and the renaltubular epithelial cells swelled with disintegration and lysis of the cristaes. The glycogen decreased inthe liver cells. The intestinal epithelium microvillis sloughed and collapsed. Hyperemia,hemorrhage displayed in all interal organs results in serious anemia in infectious fishes. This virus importantlycauses various internal organs the serious hemorrhage, to lose blood, various internal organs anemiacauses the organ denatured necrosis.
