Canine distemper caused by canine distemper virus(CDV) is a highly infectious,frequently lethal diseases with high mortality in dogs and other carnivores. In thisstudy, the CDV naturally infected dogs were detected through epidemiologicinvestigation, clinical symptom, laboratory examination and the CDV antigendetection by colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay. The organs from thesedogs inoculated puppies which were 45 day age. When these puppies infected,isolation the virus from these puppies' spleens, lung and other organs. Spleen unicellsuspension from healthy puppy inoculated unilayer Vero cell, adsorption one hour,then, inoculated organ suspension of the ill dogs. 24 hours later, the inoculated Verocell observed cell fusion, vacuolization, symplasm. However, isolation of virus onlyon Vero cell, the CPE observed when blind passage above three generation.45-day puppies were inoculated by abdominal cavity and nasal cavity with CDV,canine distemper patho-sample of duplicating meet with success and through differentdrug of treatment, specific antibody, dexamethasone, causing death by letting. Theresults of pathohistology observation on 14 PID: Control group, the hearts showedcardiac muscle hemorrhage and necrosis, the livers showed a large area of hepatictissue hyperemia, hemorrhage and necrosis, the spleens showed the quantity oflymphocyte grow downwards, the blood vessels of lung congested, congestion andhaemorrhage were serous fluid exudation, the kidneys showed heavy haemorrhageand hyperemia, the cerebrum showed the number of microglial cells of cerebrumincreased. Specific Antibody treatment group, the hearts showed myofibrosis andnecrosis, muscle fiber was inflammatory cell infiltrate, the livers showed a greatquantity neutrophilic granulocyte surrounded the hepatic tissue necrosis focus, thespleens showed massive hemorrhage and necrosis, lattice fibers hyperplasy, the lungsshowed alveolar septum thickening, the kidneys showed the renal tubular epithelialcell granular degeneration, the cerebrums showed getter cell cytosis andneurone-phagy. Dexamethasone treatment group, the hearts showed cardiac musclewaxy necrosis, bubble apomorphosis, the livers showed a large area of cellularnecrosis, the spleens showed hemorrhagic infarct, the lungs showed hemorrhage andhyperemia, serous fluid exudation, the kidneys showed granular degeneration, thecerebrum showed nerve cell swelling. Specific Antibody and dexamethasonetreatment group, the hearts showed sporadic lymphocyte infiltration on mesenchyma, the livers showed hepatocyte swelling and cell boundary blured, the spleens showedinfiltration of neutrophiles, the lungs showed hyperemia and hemorrhage, the kidneysshowed tubular ectasia and full of blood cell, the cerebrum showed nerve cell atrophyand necrosis, brain meninges congestion and hemorrhage.
