Based on the result of the analyses and data processing about the research on the soil that is fencing on degenerated typical leymus chinesis steppe in Inner Mongolia, we can find out the character, infection and mutative rule of physical character, chemic character and the soil seed of bank. Want to provide reasonable and scientific basis for grassland protection and usage. The results are as follows:1 Fencing on typical chestnut in leymus chinesis steppe Soil have advantageous effect about physical character. The Notable difference comes forth on the soil that fencing 10 years.2 The same effect appeared on the chemic character. The notable difference comes forth after fencing 6-10 years.3 The rule of seasonal changes about the chemic character is that the autumn's content more than the spring's content. But the rule of soil total phosphorus is opposition.4 The same way, along with the years of fencing, the seed's quantity of soil seed bank is increased, but the seeds of annual and biennial in soil seed bank is degressive. The Notable difference comes forth on the soil that fencing 10 years.5 The plumb distribution change of soil seed bank is that along with increase the soil deep, the quantity of seeds are decreasing. The plane distribution of soil seed bank are centralized distribution.6 Because the rain of seed, the autumn seed's quantity of soil seed bank is more than spring. a spot of reverse phenomena appeared.7 Based on the grey relational analysis, the effect of physical character affected the soil seed bank are more than the effect of chemic character. The effect of rapidly available nutrient are more than total nutrient.
