Based on the two years outside investigation of Hippota dorsalis, the livingbehavior, occurrence regularity and main natural enemy pest of Hippota dorsalis wereresearched. Hippota dorsalis happens one generation in a year, the nymphs livethrough the winter climbse the bamboo and eat the juice of the bamboo together inmiddle of March, eclosion imago in middle of May, the copulation and ovipositionbegin in middle and end of June, the two to four years old nymphs crawl down to theground of the shell of bamboo shoot and deadwood or leaves. There are five naturalenemy pest species in lying eggs period.Based on the integrated prevent and control theory, the six prevent and controlchemical medicaments were tested for Hippota dorsalis, the chemical medicamentsincluding: 50ï¼…methamidophos, 18ï¼…bisultap, 95ï¼…trichlorphon,15ï¼…fenvalerate. phoxin, 10ï¼…imidacloprid, 40ï¼…Chlorpyrifos. The results of theexperiments showed that the effects for prevent and control chemical medicamentsonly low than 90ï¼…was 10ï¼…imidacloprid, the other five prevent and control chemicalmedicaments were in best effects and similitude. The best prevent and controlchemical medicament was methamidophos. The biological prevent and control experiments for Hippota dorsalis alsoinvested in the research.â‘ Prevent and control experiments for Hippota dorsalis byreleasing Anastatus japonicus Ashmead. in forest;â‘¡Complementing the eggs of host. The results of experiments showed that:â‘ With the prevent and control method forHippota dorsalis by release Anastatus japonicus Ashmead. in forest, the average eggsautoeciousness rate in using Anastatus japonicus Ashmead. area was 93.88ï¼…, and theaverage eggs autoeciousness rate in control plot was 51.89ï¼…, the difference rate ofthem were accelated 41.99ï¼…by using Anastatus japonicus Ashmead.;â‘¡After thecomplementing the eggs of host, the average autoeciousness rate in eggs period ofHippota dorsalis in complement area was 75.39ï¼…, and the average autoeciousnessrate in control plot was 47.94ï¼…, the difference rate of them were accelerated 23.27ï¼… in complement area. The experiments of them were give the actual data for thebiological prevent and control experiments for Hippota dorsalis in follow days. The imagoes of Hippota dorsalis have low photokinesis character. The results ofthe experiment for attracting Hippota dorsalis by light attractor showed that: one lightattractor could catch average 4.96 imagoes of Hippota dorsalis in a day. The lightattractor not only attracted imagoes of Hippota dorsalis, but also attracted Loudontadispar, Algedonia coclesalis and Beetle pest.
