Plant community is the foundation of the system ecosystem function andbasic composing unit of city greenbelt, which is the "lung" of city. It'sa trend of imitating the nature structure of forest. As an important chainin constructing urban ecosystem network, urban forest island is producingan enormous ecological benefit.This paper take subtropical ever green broadleaf forest, which is theflora in ChengDu, as research object, And choose two typical parks andten sites asstudy samples. Basing on analysis of the Species diversity,Life-form and evaluation of the study Sample plots, some measures wereput forward to existing park's plant communities, the ways and means ofecological design were further discussed to build plant communities withhigh ecological effect.The main results are as follows:(1)The Species diversity of study Sample plots in Huanhuaxi park ishigher than in Tazishanpark. And Species diversity in both park are muchlower than in the nature.(2)The proportion of Meph and Miph of study Sampleare much lower inthe life form spectra.(3)Though evaluating the study Sample plots, we conclude that theHuahuaxi park already has rudiment of ever green broad-leaved forest withits landscape quantity scoring 66.5%, ten percent higher than Tazishanpark.(4)In order to play nature control mechanism of communities fully,some advices were brought forward to optimize urban forest island, suchas improving community design, planting structure and adopting Local TreeSpecies. And it is important to form urban forest island withstabilization, efficiency, persistence and economy by means of connectingthem though greenway.
