With the enhancement of urban level and rapid development of economy, some problems such as conflict of supply and demand of water resources, prevention and cure of water environment and control of flood and drainwaterage in city is increasingly standing out.Urban rainwater has become an important factor restricting national economy development, and harmed and threatened the health of people. In China ,the research on urban rainwater utilization is still in primary stage,which is important to saving water, alleviating flood disaster, supplying ground water, controlling runoff pollution and improving urban environment. Urban rainwater utilization will be one of effective ways to solve the problem of urban water resources.Baaed on the investigation of the present research of the utilization of urban rainwater, this paper analyzed the influence of urbanization on water source,water environmental system and water circulation,the relationship of the urbanization,water environmental system and the utilization of urban rainwater,and research the necessity and feasibility of the utilization of urban rainwater,The utilization ways are classified and the utilization modes are discussed;On the ground of the theoretical basis of the utilization of urban rainwater,the basic mode and procedure of the utilization of urban rainwater are established and discussed;After the discussion of the landscape and its contribution and the analysis of the facilities,the reasonable scheme of layout of road,lawn,pipelines of rainwater and sewage,green plant line is presented.The research analysed the quality of rainwater runoff and the rules changing from 2003 to 2004 in Handan, summarized the rules of rainwater runoff quality changing with the factors such as rainfall intensity, duration of rainfall, the location of rains, season and air temperature. analysed the value of BOD5/CODcr ,analysed the relation between contaminations of Rainwater runoff by the method of linear regression.Urban rainwater resources are a complicated system. The model of run-off and transfers,which play an important role in this system, directly determine how to calculate the quantity of urban rainwater resources, and provide the foundation of economic benefit about urban rainwater resources. On the basis of the analysis of hydrologic condition,weather,the condition of water resources and influencing factors of rainfall run-off, the rainstorm intensity model,the run-off and transfers models of urban rainwater resources about Handan are brought forward in the paper.To guide practice,in this subject urban rainwater quantity in Handan city is calculated and economical analyzed by discussing theory method., Case study demonstrates that it is feasible on technology and economy.It also will bring considerable benefits to water conservation, society, ecology and environment..It's significant to alleviate the shortage of water resources and improve urban environment in north cities.
