Typha angustifolia Linn is the emerging plant which belongs to cattail family. It hassturdy shape, beautiful leaf shape. Besides it has pretty inflorescence and high ornamentalvalue. Meanwhile it is the hydrophyte which artificial wetlands optimize. It is used widely.Some specific areas of china eat cattail as vegetable, in addition, some other countries andregions use it as aquatic ornamental plant, purification of water quality, and medicine.cattail plants has the effect on purification water containing heavy metals such as Pb,Zn,Cu and Cd, and developing artificial wetlands. This test adopted basic method of ionabsorption dynamics and researched the dynamics features of Typha angustifolia absorbingCd2+ in different time, and its dynamics features under the condition of differenttemperatures; the stress of Typha angustifolia on Cd2+ under different consistency andphysiological reaction under different pH value.Using the method of ionic consumption curves to research the dynamic features aboutTypha angustifolia absorbing Cd2+, and fit curve to get the dynamic parameter, it turned outthat Vmax and a got highest, Km got lowest in the four-hour absorbing process, At thismoment the root absorption ability of the best.in the beginning absorbing process, a gothighest, but as time went on(4~24h), the max absorbing rate got lower, but the completelyabsorption rate have still increase, the Cd absorption for Typha angustifolia was found tofollow Michaelis-Menten rule.The results of four tests(24h+30℃,48h+30℃,24h+10℃,48h+10℃) proved thatVmax got highest in the test of 24h+30℃while treating with the methods of V-C and LB,and Vmax got lowest while in the way of (24h+10℃). agot highest in the test of (48h+10℃) using the method of V-C, but it got highest in the test of (48h+30℃) in the wayof LB. the results of a were close in two temperatures while dealing with it in 24 hourswhile they varied greatly in 24h method, it proved that the time and temperature influencedthe iron absorption at the same time. The test used two different methods to get the dynamicparameter; there are some differences between the two results. But it has good relativity. in the test of different Cd2+ concentrations (0, 0.4, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 mg·L-1), researchingphysiological reaction Typha angustifolia posed on Cd2+, the result indicated that with theraise of Cd2+ concentrations, the content of chlorophyll in Typha angustifolia and the rootactivity both got increased in the first then began to decrease. At the beginning, theenzymatic activity of SOD and POD increased, but it gradually decreased as theconsistency heavy. In the process of 1 mg·L2+ Cd, both got the highest. The changes of twoenzymes incarnated that Typha angustifolia had positive role of protection. Cadmiumforced the content of MDA to increase with the raise of Cd2+ concentrations.The results of tests in different pH proved that the content of chl in the Typhaangustifolia was higher in the acid environment than alkalescency. The root vitality, CATactivity and POD activity all decreased as pH increased in the same Cd2+ concentrations,while SOD activity increased. Typha angustifolia restrain stress is strong under acidenvironment, in same ph, the root vitality, CAT activity and POD activity of Typhaangustifolia are all decreased, probably Typha angustifolia reacts sensitively to pH ofenvironmental solution.
